Independent Core Technology

Nine-Ring insists on independent innovation and owns the core technology of sucker rod and oil well tubing. The company has undertaken 3 national torch projects, 2 national important new product projects, 1 provincial major project, 17 provincial ‍‍technology innovation projects. The compan‍‍y has applied for 78 Chinese patents including 25 invention patents, 2 U.S. patents, 2 Russian patents,‍‍ 2 Canadian patents,‍‍ 2 Brazilian patents and been granted 72 patents including 15 invention patents.

Innovative Products

Since its establishment, Nine Ring takes the lead constantly in new products release. Nine Ring has been a pioneer of leading industry development.

1990~1995,‍‍ the ultra-strength ‍‍sucker rod ‍‍wit‍‍h ultraso‍nic freq‍uency quenching‍‍ t‍‍echnology was released.

1995~2000, ‍‍the taper thread rod fo‍‍r PCP well was released.

2000~2005,‍‍ the plug-in type rod ‍‍for PCP well was released.

2005~2010, the shaped round steel positioning limiting high strength sucker rod was released.

2010~2013,  the tungsten alloy lining tile rotating centralizer sucker rod was released.

2013~2014, seamless tubing, anti-galling tubing, corrosion resistant tubing were released.

2014~2015, the smart high strength sucker rod and its detection management system were released.

2016, the limiting safe screw pump, ternary composite flooding wells anti-scaling system were released.

Within these innovative products, the smart high strength sucker rod and its detection management system, realized the intellectualization and informatization of quality management & incident tracking of sucker rod, it is treated as disruptive innovation in sucker rod application management mode. The company developed the anti-galling tubing coupling whose inner screw is treated by Cu-Snalloy. The tubing’s screw can undertake the assembling & disassembling without thread gluing and damage more than 20 times which outdistance the industry standard.

Integrated R&D Platform

‍‍Nine Ring is the National High and Hew Technology Enterprise, Provincial enterprise technology center, Provincial sucker rod engineering laboratory, and set up its international R&D center in Houston, USA. The company has a professional technical team including 6 Doctors, 9 Masters and 27 engineers.‍‍

Nine Ring has built a powerful technology platform through cooperating with top level universities and research institutes including Peking University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northeast Petroleum University, etc‍‍‍‍
